IWSCC’s mission is to support Veteran-Owned and Disabled-Owned businesses across Canada by improving access to business opportunities and eliminating unique economic and societal barriers to their success.
We were founded as a Supplier Diversity Council to help represent Canadian Disabled-Owned and Veteran-Owned businesses succeed in procurement. We still operate today as Canada’s only council for Veteran and Disabled entrepreneurs, and we’ve grown the ways we achieve our mission.
IWSCC is a Supplier Diversity Council: A non-profit that represents and supports a specific group of business owners or “suppliers.” For IWSCC that’s Veterans and Canadians with disabilities.
We Certify these businesses, guaranteeing that they are authentically Veteran-Owned or Disabled-Owned. Then, we connect them with buyers who want to invest in them – our Corporate Members.
